Control of Power and Energy Systems
Control is ubiquitous in modern power and energy systems across virtually all time scales and system sizes, from high efficiency multi-level power electronics to power generation and storage in smart power grids, as well as to coordination mechanisms in day-ahead and intra-day energy markets. The 2023 DISC Summer School aims at presenting the most relevant control and optimization methodologies in these application areas via tutorial lectures and research oriented talks.

Ashish Cherukuri, Sergio Grammatico and Mircea Lazar have the pleasure to invite you to participate to the DISC Summer School “Control of Power and Energy Systems”, which will place in September 12-15, 2023, at NH Conference Centre Leeuwenhorst, Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands.

Program and set-up
The Summer School starts on Tuesday September 12th at 10.00h. The program ends on Friday September 15th around 17.00h.

Registration
The registration fee includes:
• Overnight stay on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
• All meals (breakfast/lunch/dinner) are included, from lunch on Tuesday including the lunch on Friday.
• Two coffee/tea breaks each day (please note: all other drinks are for your own account)
• Admission to all sessions
• Summer School course materials
• Coffee, tea, and water during the meeting
• Internet access on the hotel premises
Credits
PhD students can obtain 1 EC for the DISC Summer School. We expect active participation in the assignments and discussions.
Registration
Register for the Summer School on the DISC course platform. The maximum number of participants is 50. The registrations will be handled in order of arrival. When the maximum number of participants is reached the registrations will be closed.

Please send proof of payment by mail to r.c.m.kragtwijk@tudelft.nl. Your registration is valid when we have received payment and proof of payment before August 16, 2023.
Registrations received between August 17, 2023 and September 4, 2023, will be processed on September 5, 2023.
The same rule applies (payment of proof needs to be sent before September 4, 2023. Your registration is confirmed once you have received a written mail by the DISC secretariat on September 5, 2023.

Non-DISC members

€ 1.400,- (after July 28, 2023)
Above mentioned amounts are based upon shared rooms, a small number of single rooms is available at additional cost. EUR 1.200,- for DISC members and EUR 1.500,- for non-DISC members.
Cancellation
Cancellation is possible until August 16, 2023. After that no refunds are possible. Cancellations must be emailed to r.c.m.kragtwijk@tudelft.nl.
